The "secret" in burning fat is that there is no secret. Do not be fooled by falsely advertised methods such as the fat burning "zone" claiming to be the one step to help relieve you from that lingering loathed fat. Sure you could go 3 times a week to the gym and use the same piece of cardio equipment for the same amount of time and notice a few changes or even mix it up. Although, if you stick to an exercise plan one will see results, but one may never get close to reaching one's full potential without dieting. Nutrition is a very important key point when deciding begin their healthy lifestyle. Discipline is crucial and once attained "dieting" will be rightly viewed as a way of life. Once the decision of a healthy lifestyle has been made one will start to notice a healthier appearance as well since stored fat (energy) is being used by the body to adapt with the changes. That is the only "secret" I believe people are referring to. The "secret" to the only way of burning fat is to have less of an input than output. Eat a bit less. It all can be started little by little, one step at a time as similar approach as it is to everything else. You may start by having nothing but salads, vegetables, and all kinds of other crazy foods that you hate. Yeah thats real good and very, very nutritious, but how can somebody change so drastically from overeating questionably healthy foods to consuming healthy portions of highly nutritious foods? Humanely absurd i believe since we are creatures of habit and keeping in mind that some overeating habits have been deeply rooted for very long periods of time. How about just starting slow on your next meal? What about the option of not eating until one feels full? Choosing more wisely on condiments or styles of cooking? How about skipping dessert this time? Those 3 last spoonfuls, do you really have to have them? One option could be starting there. Not ingesting your usual portion size at dinner time because that is what helped you reach this point. Slowly but steadily you could decrease the amount of food being eaten and simultaneously experience discipline building skills which is an essential component to bringing forth a much healthier you. Also, a neat trick would be to allow oneself to eat healthier small appetizers of vegetables or fruit or any other nutritious food before one's meal in order to have less room for the less healthier foods.
